OPI operates in the midstream, in the transportation, storage and processing of oil and gas. Transportation to the refinery can be by tanker ships, pipelines and trucking fleets. Whilst OPI downstream business is primarily reserved for the refining of crude oil and purifying natural gas. OPG sells the products through its marketing and distribution business to customers and end users in many different forms including natural gas, diesel oil, petrol, gasoline, lubricants, kerosene, jet fuel, asphalt, heating oil, LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) as well as other types of petrochemicals. Fuel oil and gasoline are OPG’s largest volume products.

SHIPPING AND TRUCKING

Together with our logistics partners, OPI ship crude oil to refineries to be processed. OPI has a receptacle processing arrangement with these refineries whereby we provide crude oil as a feedstock to be processed into petroleum products. This agreement provides OPI with additional product lines to add into our existing options available for clients.

OPI’s shipping department coordinates all our shipping requirements.
